PTA / Laser welding powders

Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) and Laser welding are cladding systems with the benefits of depositing alloys with specific properties for applications. These are applied with automaton with offer high levels of precision, control and low dilution. The low dilution allows high low transfer of base-material properties into the cladding. PTA and Laser claddings offer some of the most impressive properties available in the protective coating world today. Alloys International have a wide range of powders suitable for PTA and Laser Welding for applications including corrosion resistance, wear resistance, dimensional restoration, high temperature, such as:

  • Tungsten carbides
  • Cobalt based alloys 1, 6, 12, 21 (equivalent to Stellite™)
  • Nickel based alloys (Equivalent to Hastalloy, Inconel)
  • Cast iron alloys
  • Martensitic Stainless Steels (including 420 and 431)
  • Austenitic stainless steels (316, 307, 309)
